Tim and his wife Crystal purchased Atterberry Auction and Realty Company from Larry Atterberry Jr and his wife Marla in July 2019. Tim comes from a family business that has been providing excellent customer service and the integrity that the Atterberrys have become known for in the community. Tim is well known around the community as a loyal supporter of Mizzou, Columbia College, Our Lady of Lourdes, Father Tolton High School, and various other charities and organizations. Tim and his lovely wife Crystal have four daughters and enjoy attending sporting events and traveling in their free time. Tim acts as the General Manager of Atterberry Auction and Realty Company and he assists customers with their Real Estate and Personal Property needs. Tim enjoys getting out and meeting new people and strives to provide a stress free experience for each customer with whom they partner.

Crystal Elliott

Owner, Office Manager

Crystal and her husband, Tim, purchased Atterberry Auction and Realty Company, L.L.C. from Larry Atterberry Jr. and his wife, Marla, in July 2019. Crystal is a 1998 graduate of Hickman High School and 2002 graduate of Columbia College where she received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Management and Finance. Crystal and Tim have four daughters and enjoy attending sporting events and traveling in their free time. Crystal is well known around the community as a loyal supporter of Mizzou Athletics, Columbia College and Columbia College Athletics, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School, Father Tolton Catholic High School, and various other charities and organizations. Her formal education and lengthy experience in the insurance industry prepared her to single-handedly act as the Accounting and Human Resources departments of Atterberry Auction and Realty Company. A Missouri native and long-time resident of Columbia, Crystal is proud to be a local business owner and Columbia Chamber of Commerce member.

Auctioneer & Personal Property Auction Specialist

As a second-generation Auctioneer, Scott has grown up as an auction professional. For as long as Scott can remember, he has worked with his father in all aspects of the auction business. Scott's first job was to run clerk sheets and evolved into running the business as a partnership with his father and later as sole proprietor In 1996, Scott became part of Atterberry Auction & Realty Co. LLC. He's a member of the Missouri Professional Auctioneer Association where he is the past 2005 president and has served on the board of directors. Scott attends state and national educational seminars to stay abreast of the latest trends and practices that affect the auction industry. His goal is to do the very best job he can for each and every seller.

Marla Oglesby

Broker/Real Estate Auction Consultant

Marla Oglesby began her career with Atterberry Auction & Realty Co. in September, 2013 working along side Larry Atterberry Jr as Real Estate Auction Assistant. She acquired a Missouri Real Estate Salesperson license in February, 2014. In 2016 she earned the designation of Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate from the National Auctioneers Association. She went on to obtain a Missouri Real Estate Broker license in June 2020. Her passion is to develop a professional and positive relationship with clients, assisting them from beginning to end of the Real Estate Auction process and beyond to life-long relationships. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan and two children, Kenlee & Jacob on their small cattle farm near Harrisburg, Missouri.

Personal Property Auction Coordinator

Julie makes the rubber meet the auction road: she coordinates the crew, getting them to swoop in and masterfully sort, photograph, and catalog Personal Property auction items. She also manages the Personal Property preview and pickup days. Although she is a humble flower, she has an unmistakable and infectious laugh. In her spare time she enjoys bowling and spending time with her husband Brian and two children, Augie & Beth.

Grace Dow

Personal Property Assistant

As the personal property assistant, Grace is responsible for setting up online auctions, assisting buyers with registration and bidding, and assisting with office duties. Grace is currently an undergraduate student at Columbia College pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. In her free time, Grace enjoys playing tennis, hiking with her husband and dog, and spending time with her family.
