Dr. Fannie Lu Davis was a Boonville native. She never lived far from home but that did not stop her from being a world traveler. Dr. Davis truly enjoyed traveling including several trips to Africa and even taking a group of young people to Italy. She was always up for an adventure whether it was water skiing as a child at the Lake Of The Ozarks or going on African Safaris as an adult. Dr. Davis was the past head of the Missouri Dept. Of Mental Health and was also an administrator at a children’s mental facility in St. Joseph, MO.
